Peter Dewhirst – Sales Director
Peter Dewhirst has headed up sales at ELT Acquisitions since 1998, advising companies and individuals on the best and most profitable way of acquiring and disposing of language schools and their property assets.
Peter’s background is in property, owning a small chain of estate agents in the 1980s and a French property association (company) in the 1990s. Prior to that he was an officer in the Coldstream Guards.
Shirley Greenall – Finance and Marketing Director
Shirley Greenall helped establish ELT Acquisitions in 1998. Through her previous role as ELT Marketing Director with Pearson Education, she gained an extensive knowledge of the ELT industry. Working with Melanie Butler (of the EL Gazette) she formed ELT Management Consultants, a company which identified the need for a specialist English language school broker.
ELT Acquisitions was formed to answer that need and remains the only business transfer agent specialising in language schools. Shirley has been involved in all aspects of the development and management of small companies and is able to offer advice in many areas of management, marketing and finance.
